Our web design agency builds websites on WordPress. We choose to build our websites on WordPress because it is the largest content management system (CMS) in the world! A good CMS makes it easy to manage large amounts of content – such as blog posts and product pages. As of 2021, WordPress powers 39.5% of all websites on the web!

Put in layman’s terms, that means that our client’s websites are built on an open-source platform (WordPress) that is actively supported by developers around the world! This means that WordPress websites can integrate easily with custom-built plugins to include almost any functionality a client desires on their website.

WordPress is free to use – there are no monthly, or yearly costs to use the platform (there are however fees for special plugins). WordPress is also home to WooCommerce, a fantastic eCommerce platform that makes it possible to run a full-fledged eCommerce store without monthly fees like Shopify.

Our web design agency does not provide web hosting. We find that hosting client websites hinders our ability to focus on what we do best – web design!

For a small business or personal website, our preferred hosting partner is SiteGround. SiteGround offers an amazing custom management tool that makes website maintenance much easier! They also offer a special WordPress plugin called “SG Optimizer” that we love to use to speed up our client’s websites.

In general, we recommend avoiding BlueHost, Host Gator, and GoDaddy.

If you are looking to purchase a domain name, our favorite place is NameCheap. We recommend buying a “.com” domain for most businesses unless they are an organization (use “.org”), or the “.com” is already taken.

Our website design process can range from $2,000 – $12,000 depending on the complexity, design, and number of pages. Most often we build custom websites from scratch so our clients get a unique website that suits their business. We do offer customized template websites for clients that have a budget at the lower end of our range.

Our monthly SEO plans run between $500 – $2,000 for the majority of clients. The pricing depends on the amount of content you would like us to write for you, as well as the number of backlinks built per month. Organic content and link building are the two most important aspects of increasing website rankings.

Each website build is completely different. Our web design agency offers both custom web design and customized template design. These two approaches will have drastically different time frames.

Ultimately, the project timeline is also determined by the client. Clients are responsible for providing images and content in a timely manner, or the project will be slightly delayed. There also needs to be time factored in for the revisions process – where we hand the demo site over to clients for them to review the work and request changes.

Most commonly, projects take around 1 month to complete if the entire process runs smoothly.
